<h3></h3>Visit Service / Introduction<h3>Visitor Guide</h3><h4>Information for Visitors</h4>1. Open time: 8:45 am - 16:45 pm (stop to enter the museum at 15:30 pm), closed on Monday (when comes to the national holidays, closed dates are postponed to the first working day after the holiday).2. Free to visit the museum. Visitors (with children) please enter by the auto-gate after security check; adult visitors who do not carry children are required to show and register valid certificates first, then enter by the auto-gate after security check.3. For team visitors (between 20-200 people), please make appointment in advance (appointment phone: 021-62783130). On the day of the visit, you will be admitted to the museum by organization letter of introduction.4. Juveniles, persons incapable of disposing or with limited capacity shall be accompanied by their guardians.5. The museum excludes anyone who is not properly dressed, alcoholic and carrying pets from entering.6. It is prohibited to carry inflammable and explosive items, poisonous and harmful substances, controlled knives and other prohibited items into the museum.7. Care for exhibits and public facilities, and do not use skateboard, roller skating and other toys in the museum..8. Do not eat in the museum except for the designated area.9. This museum is a non-smoking area. Please take good care of yourself and others  health.10. Please ensure the safety of the children and keep own belongings during the visit.11. In case of unexpected circumstances, please follow the instructions of the site staff and flee by the designated route. Please follow the arrangement of our museum if there is a major or temporary event in our museum.12. When the number of visitors reaches the peak of the carrying capacity, the current limit will be initiated, and the tourists will be asked to support and cooperate.<h3>General Services</h3>1.Tour service: the museum provides free tour information for visitors, and you can also obtain the relevant information through scanning the QR code of WeChat in the exhibition area.2. Gift shop: The gift shop features goods such as science toys and stationery.3. Luggage storage: Large luggage may be stored at the reception desk. Please carry all valuables with you.4. Online museum: More information about the museum is released via the official website (www.shetbwg.cn), WeChat subscription account “Shanghai Children’s Museum” and SINA micro-blog of Shanghai Children’s Museum , from which you may know about the visitor flow, have a VR visit and share educational resources.5. Other services: Emergency medicine, giving directions, paging service, lost & found service, consultation service etc. are provided for free. For details of paid services, please refer to Guidance for Paid Services.<h3>Guidance for Paid Services</h3>1. The paid service projects of the museum include dome theater film, “Cities and Me” exhibition area and popular science theme activity. Among them, “Cities and Me” is specially designed for children below 1.3m; the appropriate age for dome theater film and popular science theme activity shall be marked according to the arrangement of the day.2. In order to ensure the safety of tourists and improve the comfort level, the paid service projects are in limited supply. Only 70 seats per show for dome theater film, 100 households at the same time period for “Cities and Me” and 14 households per show for popular science theme activity.3. Please read the schedule carefully before purchasing a paid service project.4. Accept cash and union pay card, and please check the ticket and payment in person. No refund will be accepted.5. After purchasing the ticket, please use within the time limit, which is specified in the ticket.
